Please contact me for quality Bluefaced Leicesters - white and natural colored - of all ages whether adding to a current flock or beginning a new flock. I will be doing a flock reduction sometime in July.

Guardian Dogs

Because of the continual threat of coyotes, fox and stray dogs we have Annie in guarding our sheep. She lives with the sheep and does her work by barking aggressively and patrolling the farm.

A favorite ewe with her early February twins out of Gigrin Red Kite.

This lamb has had his dam's sole attention and appears to be well fed. She lambed 3 weeks short of her first birthday and seemed to have all her mothering instincts in full throttle. He was a 14 lb. single lamb born 21 February - making him 2-1/2 weeks old at the time of this picture.

A pair of twins born 2-15-10 out of a Gigrin Red Kite dam and WF Moorson. Look for them at the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival.

0776 with one of her triplets born 2-17-2010. One of the best producing ewes at Ward Farms, a ewe out of Gigrin Rhayader bred this time to WF Moorson .
